Formidable Magazine. What was your first creative drive?
Sansano. It probably was the first time I wrote poetry for one of my songs. But it was in 2006 the first time I impersonated one of my characters.

F.M. Is there a defining moment that made you realize art was your thing?
S.S. There is no any particular moment, it’s more like cumulative process. Life took me down a certain path and I realized I had to keep doing what made me feel good.

F.M. How would you define your work?
S.S. They usually call me a performer, but I don’t think this is accurate. My goal is to explore all the possible characters within me. Now I even give them voice through my songs, but I wouldn’t define myself as a singer. I didn’t come up with a precise term to define my work just yet.

F.M. Inspirational artists?
S.S. A lot, from every where; music, art, fashion… every day I discover something new and exciting. I won’t name any body in particular because I’d surelly forget many.

F.M. How is a day in the life of Sansanonasnas?
S.S. It really depends on the day, so I’ll tell you about tomorrow as an example. I’ll have a big breakfast to refill my energy to the max. I’ll go to the fashion store where I work, Transit, until 17:00. Then I’ll run to the sound studio to record my newest song, 27, with producers Raúl Santos and Jorge Ramos. Finally I have to go back home to get ready for my Halloween performance in Ramses Dining Club. So as you see pretty intense!

F.M. Best and worst night out?
S.S. The best is a non stop dacing night with all my friends and the people I love. The worst possible night is when all goes wrong, and nothing goes how it’s supposed to. But as I always say, a bad night only last one night.

F.M. What do you love and hate about Madrid?
S.S. What I like the most about Madrid is its people, they fill me up with energy. The worst is its cultural life, it seems it’s shrinking, it’s all the same. I hope this is a short period and Madrid is soon back to what it once was.

F.M. What’s in your play list?
S.S. I change my playlist as I learn about new bands, but this is what I have right now; LUST FOR YOUTH, FIRST HATE, HURTS, GRIMES, R.E.M., PLANNING TO ROCK, ROYKSOPP, VANESSA PARADIS, KATE BUSH, BJORK… And many more.

F.M. Our motto is “A life less ordinary”, what makes life less ordinary?
S.S. My love for art, to do things the way I like and to help people around me. That’s the most beautiful thing to do and what makes worth to do what I do.
